NAME
	reducemtmod - to reduce the number of points in a MT model

SYNOPSIS
	reducemtmod

DESCRIPTION
  REDUCEMTMOD will reduce the number of points in a simple model (i.e.
  one with no branch points), retaining the starting and ending points
  and every Nth point in between, where N is the reduction factor
  specified by the user.

  Entries:
  
  Name of input model file

  Name of output file for reduced model
  
  Reduction factor.  2 will retain every 2nd point; 3, every 3rd point,
      etc.  To retain only the start and end, enter a number greater
      than the longest object length.
