slicer2MOTL - convert Slicer (Z-Y-X) angles to motive list Euler angles
slicer2MOTL inputFilename outputFilename
slicer2MOTL inputFilename outputFilename flgInvert
Slicer2MOTL converts one or more Z-Y-X Slicer angles (in degrees)
to the Z-X-Z Euler angles required for a motive list entry, and will
either print the results or save them to an output motive list file.
If no arguments are supplied, the program will prompt the user for
Slicer angles, and will display the Euler angles corresponding to
the inverse rotation. Conversely, if input and output filenames
are provided (and are not null strings), results will be written
to an output motive list.
Input Slicer angles are assumed to be those required to
rotate the particle(s) to the desired reference orientation. Since
the motive list reflects the rotation required to rotate the
reference to match the particle(s), slicer2MOTL computes Z-X-Z
Euler angles corresponding to the inverse transform by default.
If the uninverted transform is desired, set flgInvert to 0.
- inputFilename (optional)
is the path to the coma-separated-value file containing Slicer angles
to be converted and stored in motive list format. Input Slicer
angles should be listed in the order X-Y-Z, even though they would be
applied in the order Z-Y-X.
- outputFilename (optional)
is the name to which the output motive list will be written.
- flgInvert (optional, default = 1)
If 0, Euler angles corresponding to the transform specified by the
input Slicer angles (rather than its inverse) will be output.
