DECTRIS Detector Control Panel
The DECTRIS Detector control panel appears when a DECTRIS camera is included in the list of available cameras. On the left are buttons; on the right are some indicators of the detector status.
Acquire Flatfield
Press this button to acquire a flatfield (gain reference) for the camera. A message will come up telling you the total acquisition time and asking you to confirm that you want to proceed. The program will take multiple shorter exposures, with progress shown in the status bar. The STOP button will be enabled and can be used to stop the acquisition at any point.
Advanced Settings
Press this button to open a separate dialog for some advanced settings.
Initialize Detector
Press this button to initialize the detector, which can take significant time. A message will come up asking if you want to proceed. After initialization starts, the STOP button will be enabled but will not have any effect.
Toggle HV State
Press this button to switch the high voltage for the detector between the off and ready states.
Status output:
The line below Status: show the overall status of the detector. For a retractable camera, the next two lines show whether it is inserted or retracted. The line HV: shows whether the high voltage for the detector is ready, off, or ramping up.
